About the experience

Most people come back from Goa with a tan and a camera roll. You'll come back with a group chat that refuses to die.

This isn't the Goa of packaged tours and 7am buffet queues. We stay in one house in Assagao, ride out to the beaches nobody puts on a brochure, eat where the fishermen eat, and end most nights on a terrace arguing about something that doesn't matter.

Twenty-odd people who didn't know each other on Thursday. By Sunday, that's not true any more.

I'm coming alone. Will that be awkward?

Most of the group is. Roughly PLACEHOLDER% of every OffGrid trip books solo, which is why the first evening is a structured opening circle rather than a free-for-all — nobody has to do the work of introducing themselves twenty times.

How are rooms shared?

Twin or triple-shared with someone of the same gender by default. Private rooms are available on request for a supplement.

What's the age range?

Typically mid-20s to late-30s. We're not strict about it, but that's who tends to show up.

Do I need to know how to ride a scooter?

No. There's always a pillion seat, and the group vehicle covers the longer runs.
